Introducing: The Link: Mobile Crisis Team – Our New Look and Evolving Vision!

The Mobile Crisis Team Co-Design Committee is excited to share some important updates about one of our core programs — the Mobile Crisis Team — including a new name, a refreshed brand and a powerful visual identity that reflects the heart of the work we do.

Over the past several months, we have engaged in meaningful consultation with youth, families, staff, participants and community members. We’ve studied similar programs and worked closely with an external agency to ensure that our evolution stays rooted in what matters most: meeting the real and changing needs of our community.

As a result of this work, we’re proud to introduce our program’s new name and logo:

The name speaks to our organization’s role as a vital connection — a lifeline — for those in moments of crisis. The updated brand, developed in collaboration with an Indigenous designer, honours the cultural contexts we serve and the trauma-informed, responsive approach our team brings to every situation.

What hasn’t changed is our commitment:

The Link: Mobile Crisis Team continues to deliver on-the-spot crisis response, de-escalation and short-term support — with cultural awareness, deep compassion and a trauma-informed lens.

Here’s a glimpse into the meaning behind the new logo and design elements:

The Mama and Baby Bear

Symbolize protection, strength and nurturing. The mama bear represents our team’s role as guardians and advocates, while the baby bear reflects those we serve — resilient, vulnerable and deserving of safety.

The Hearts

Represent love, compassion and emotional safety — the core of our crisis response philosophy.

The Colours

Blue brings calm in chaos. Green represents growth and healing. The warm yellow-orange of the hearts speaks to the power of human connection and hope.

This rebranding is more than a new look — it’s a renewed commitment to being there for our community, especially for youth and families who need us most. We’re excited to carry this vision forward with each of you, and to continue the important work of ensuring that no one has to navigate a crisis alone.

We’ll be sharing updated materials, templates and guidelines soon to help you incorporate the new brand into your work. In the meantime, thank you for everything you do to make this service a trusted and compassionate presence in our community.

With gratitude,

The Mobile Crisis Team Co-Design Committee
