Social And Wellness Committee Opens Wellness Room

The Link’s Social and Wellness “Swellness” Committee comes together to organize social, recreational and wellness events and activities for staff members. 

The committee works collaboratively with our teams in the north and hosts many different types of events throughout the year.

One of the first projects of he committee was to create and open a Wellness Room at the main office for staff, which opened in February 2023.

A very BIG THANK YOU to the folks who have brought in donated items to help make the space welcoming and cozy!

The Wellness Room is intended to be a quiet space where staff can rest and rejuvenate for a few minutes throughout the day.

There is comfortable seating, plants, a yoga mat, meditation pillows, books and magazines, colouring sheets, plants and a speaker for music.
