International Youth Day Carnival

The Link celebrated International Youth Day and oh, what fun we had!

In August 2023, we hosted two Carnivals to celebrate all of the youth in our communities. The Link’s Swellness Committee and many others helped to plan events in both Winnipeg and Thompson.

There was food, games, prizes, laughter and so much more!

Thank you to everyone who helped to organize these events and to everyone that came out to participate. It was so great to see youth and community members having fun and making memories.

Also a special “thank you” to Cheyla, a member of the Indigenous Initiatives team, for sharing her talents and making piles of the very BEST Bannock Tails EVER.
